The School of Engineering and Technology under Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Perambalur Campus provides Science, Engineering & Technology based pioneering Education that is necessary to develop high competence that suits for the world of Engineering and Scientific Research Organization.

Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan School of Engineering and Technology is busy laying the path for the twenty-second century for such aspirants who strive to be proactive.
Dr. C. P. Karthikeyan has a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Vellore Engineering College (affiliated with Madras University), 1998. He holds a Master's Degree in Energy Conservation and Management from the School of Energy, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli (2002), and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from VIT University, Vellore (2009).
With more than eighteen years of academic experience, Dr. Karthikeyan has served as Dean, School of Mechanical and Building Sciences at VIT University, Chennai (2012–2014), and as Principal at Sriram Engineering College, Tiruvallur (2022–2024). Between 2007 and 2010, as co-investigator, he helped establish a DST-funded Biomass Gasification Project at VIT University (grant: ₹22 lakh).
He has been awarded international travel grants (2007, 2014, 2017) for academic and research collaboration visits to Germany, the Netherlands, and Ireland. His research output includes four SCI and ten Scopus-indexed publications, and he has successfully supervised two research scholars.
His research interests are sustainable energy, clean environment, circular economy, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and advanced heat transfer.
To provide knowledgeable, technically qualified and skilled human resources to the society contributing in economic development globally.
To create a conducive environment of learning across all domains of engineering for preparing future engineers with high professional ethics.
