Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Perambalur, proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day of our nation on 15th August 2025 with patriotic fervor. The celebrations were presided over by His Excellency A. Srinivasan Ayya, Honorable Chancellor, DSU, who hoisted the national flag and delivered an inspiring address highlighting the values of freedom, responsibility, and nation building.
The event featured a grand march past and impressive parade, showcasing the discipline and spirit of our students. His Excellency urged students to embrace their roles as responsible citizens and contribute positively to society.
In recognition of excellence, students who excelled in academics and extracurricular activities were honored during the ceremony. The day was further enriched by vibrant cultural performances, reflecting unity and inclusiveness among students and faculty alike. The celebration concluded with the national anthem and distribution of sweets, spreading pride and joy among all.
