On October 28, 2024, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University (DSU), Perambalur, hosted a grand Freshers' Day celebration at its University Auditorium. This special event, which took place at 10:30 AM, was organized to warmly welcome new students from various schools under DSU, including the School of Engineering and Technology, Institute of Pharmacy, School of Allied Health Sciences, School of Physiotherapy, and School of Agricultural Sciences. The celebration combined three significant components: the Freshers' Day welcome, the inauguration of Student Clubs, and the release of the University Newsletter.
The event was presided over by DSU's Chancellor, Ayya A. Srinivasan , who provided guidance and encouragement to the new batch of students. Dr. Suceendran, Head of Academic Alliances/TCS, graced the occasion as the chief guest, accompanied by Mr. Shanmugam from CTS.
